A magnetic filter is installed on the return pipework to the boiler and collects the systems sludge before it enters your boiler. Protecting the boiler's heat exchanger, pump, valves and mechanical parts. Increasing your boilers lifespan and efficiency.
Alongside installing a magnetic filter, adding a corrosion inhibitor is a must. An inhibitor slows down the process of corrosion in your boiler, pipework and radiators meaning that build-up of nasty sludge is much less likely. These two preventative measures can extend the life of your boiler by years.
